Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 2, 2026 · Last updated: August 2, 2026

ChartLens for X is an unofficial browser extension that makes values in X Creator Analytics charts easier to read. This policy explains how the extension handles data.

Summary: ChartLens processes the chart information already shown in X Creator Analytics in the browser. It does not send analytics data, account data, or browsing data to the developer or to a third-party server.

Data the extension handles

When you open a supported X Creator Analytics page, the extension reads chart elements already rendered on that page, such as bar geometry, visible axis labels, visible date labels, and the resulting follows, unfollows, impressions, posts, or replies values. This is website content and browsing activity as defined by the Chrome Web Store policies.

The extension does not read passwords, authentication cookies, direct messages, form entries, payment information, or browsing history.

How data is used

Chart information is used only to add visible labels above charts and to calculate the follows, unfollows, net-follows, and date-range summary shown in the extension popup. This processing is necessary for the extension's single purpose: improving readability of X Creator Analytics charts.

Storage and sharing

Retention and your choices

You can remove stored data by removing the extension or clearing its extension data in Chrome. You can stop the extension from accessing an Analytics page by disabling or uninstalling it.

Policy compliance

ChartLens uses data only to provide its disclosed user-facing functionality and complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Changes and contact

If this policy or the extension's data practices change, this page and the Chrome Web Store listing will be updated before the change takes effect. For questions or support, open an issue at github.com/lengziyu/ChartLens-for-X/issues.
